Creation of frac île-de-france
2002
Opening of le plateau, exhibition space, resulting from the initiative of a neighbourhood association (“Vivre aux Buttes-Chaumont”) presided by the artist Eric Corne. The objective was to reorient a real estate plan for the site of the former audio-visual company La Société Française de Production, in order to develop a contemporary art program.
This was project was made possible thanks to the support of Conseil Régional d’Île-de-France.
2014
Rehabilitation of le château, by the Communauté d’agglomération de Marne-et-Gondoire, with Xavier Veilhan, architects Bona-Lemercier and set designer Alexis Bertrand. As part of its multi-site development project, it becomes frac île-de-france’s second venue.
